Here I sit.

I continue to be amazed by the bureaucracy that is invasive and for the most part, completely un-necessary. If doing business in Europe is always like this, then I am not surprised that the Euro is in the toilet and the EU is coming to a slow and painful death. In most of my missives, I have given a time line for my departure, but no more. I going to let folk know what is going on when it is actually going on and not before, having said that, I have no news.
I have considered other options to living and waiting here and find that there are no other options but waiting here. As Wil has said that I have put more than enough sweat equity into this venture and that a little more time will be worth it.
Love and Blessings one and all

Happy Birthday to Stacey

I just thought this was cool

"The best thing for being sad,” replied Merlyn, beginning to puff and blow, “is to learn something. That is the only thing that never fails. You may grow old and trembling in your anatomies, you may lie awake at night listening to the disorder of your veins, you may miss your only love, you may see the world about you devastated by evil lunatics, or know your honour trampled in the sewers of baser minds. There is only one thing for it then — to learn. Learn why the world wags and what wags it. That is the only thing which the mind can never exhaust, never alienate, never be tortured by, never fear or distrust, and never dream of regretting.”
